Problems Idenified
- Multiple injuries occurred while refueling the haul truck fleet.
- Smaller operators struggled due to poor ergonomics of existing fuel nozzles.
- Significant height difference between the handles made operation difficult and unsafe.
The Solution
- Modified the nozzle design to improve ergonomics and safety.
- Incorporated butterfly wings on the nozzle for better grip and control.
